Stay on top of the latest news or developments in the blog conference world:
- Blissdom 2011 has extended their alumni ticket sales through until the end of October. That means a $100 savings if you attended in 2010 and plan on attending in 2011.
- Blissdom 2011 is welcoming speaker/topic submissions.
- There’s a lot of chatter on Twitter about good airfare rates right now, specifically on Southwest, American, and United airlines…as low as $30/way plus taxes! Check for the conferences you’re attending (or hoping to) as it might help with the financing of it!
- Want to know which conferences are looking for speakers? The blog & social media conference speaker submission list is updated regularly, so check back frequently. Don’t see one on the list you’d like to inquire about speaking at? Just let me know!
Newly Added Blog Conferences
Have you heard about the new blog conferences just added to the blog conference list?
- Disney Social Media Moms announced the dates of their 2011 conference held at Disney World: March 17-20th, 2011. Registration will be mid-late November.
- The 2011 blog and social media conference list is shaping up already! In order to take advantage of big savings, be sure to check back often as new events are being added daily to stay on top of early bird registration deadlines.
Newly Added Blog Conference Ticket Contests
Really want to attend a blog or social media conference, but just can’t swing it? Besides pitching for personal sponsorship, you may try entering to win a ticket through the various contests. Conference Ticket Info & Deadlines Coming Up
Whether it is a registration deadline or the end of early bird ticket rates, don’t forget these upcoming dates (found in the sidebar or by clicking the link above to see the calendar). And remember, 2011 conferences are being promoted already and some already have their tickets on sale. Plan ahead to save $$$!
- Blissdom 2011 tickets are on sale for alums from until the end of October for $299 (you should have received an email). General tickets are on sale and the early bird rate ($349) extends through 11/30.
- FitBloggin’ 2011 tickets are on sale already. Early bird tickets are $199 through 10/31. Full price tickets are $250.
- Mom 2.0 Summit 2011 tickets are on sale for $449. But use code jazzspecial through 11/15 to get your ticket for $405!
- BloggyBootcamp Boston* tickets are on sale for $115 through 11/30/10 and are $150 after. The event is being held on May 7th, 2011.
- Bloggy Bootcamp in San Diego* is March 19th, 2011 and tickets are $110 before 12/1/10 and are $135 thereafter.
- SOBCon Chicago 2011 tickets are on sale already. Buy your ticket by 12/16/10 to get a $200 savings. Early bird price is $795.
- BlogHer 2011 tickets are on sale. Early bird rate of $198 ends on 2/28/11 or whenever they sell out (and they will!). See this post for more insight into the BlogHer 2011 ticket categories.
- EVO 2011 tickets are on sale and offering a discounted rate of $299 through 2/28/11.
- I_Blog 2010 tickets* are still on sale for $199.
