As always, Blog Conference Newbie wants to make sure to keep you up to date on the newest developments and dates to know in the conference world. Here’s this week’s lists of info to know!

Blog Conference News
Stay on top of the latest news or developments in the blog conference world:
- Sign up by August 15th to be considered to be paired up with sponsors for Camp Blogaway. Three will have their attendance funded for the September 25th event!
- BLOGHER ’11: There might be some confusion with regards to the various ticket types for BlogHer 2011. After speaking directly to co-coordinator Elisa, who was nice enough to connect with me via phone during BlogHer weekend, I am armed with information to share with you all. NOTE: You can secure a personal sponsor of your own with EITHER ticket category. As always, make sure to check with the conference’s personal sponsorship guidelines.
BlogHer ticket categories:
- Self-Sponsored Ticket ($598): If you’re uncomfortable with the official BlogHer sponsors helping to make your ticket cost more affordable, then this is the ticket you’d want to buy.
- Blogher Subsidized Ticket ($198): BlogHer official sponsors help make tickets more affordable with their sponsorship of the conference, and therefore this discounted rate can be offered to bloggers.

Thank You!!! I have read so much about BlogHer ’10 and I’d love to attend Blogher ’11 but would need to find sponsorship to make it happen. I was feeling a little overwhelmed and had no idea as to where to start.
Welcome! Glad to help de-mystify BlogHer.
