Blog Conference Updates (7/5)

As always, Blog Conference Newbie wants to make sure to keep you up to date on the newest developments and dates to know in the conference world. Here’s this week’s lists of info to know!

Stay on top of the latest news or developments in the blog conference world:

  • Good news Midwesterners! The I_Blog Conference, which will take place November 5th-7th in Iowa, has released some names of speakers and session details. Plus, now you can register for your tickets! The full conference ticket is just $199 or you can purchase your ticket “a la carte” style in order to customize your experience. Why should you attend I_Blog? Because the conference allows for ALL bloggers to get what they need from it. There are 2 tracks: one for beginners and one for more experienced bloggers.  What will you be learning? SEO tips, how to get paid for writing about your passion, how to use social media to build your online presence, and more! You can find out more about session and other important details on the I_Blog website, which is being updated as details are being released.
  • The Minnesota Blog Conference has finalized their conference date and location. It will take place on Sept 11 and will be held at the CoCo Space in St. Paul. Stay tuned for details; a blog and website are soon to follow and once they are live, I will link to it from the Blog Conference page.

Newly Added Blog Conferences

Have you heard about the new blog conferences just added to the blog conference list?

  • The Lady Blogger Social: This social media soiree takes place November 13th in Las Vegas and is open to those members of the Lady Bloggers Society. Unfamiliar with this group? It’s a group of women bloggers who enjoy connecting, networking, and socializing. With 951 members going strong at the present time, there’s sure to be a connection for everyone!

Newly Added Blog Conference Ticket Contests

Really want to attend a blog or social media conference, but just can’t swing it? Besides pitching for personal sponsorship, you may try entering to win a ticket through the various contests. Newly listed contests are updated on the Blog Conference Tix Contest page (updated regularly).

  • Bookieboo & Mamavation have opened up their “BlogHer Ticket” contest again as the previous winner wasn’t able to attend. Hurry though….contest ends July 9th!
