- Mom 2.0 recently opened a call for speakers which is open from 9/1-9/30. You can also email them with topic ideas even if you don’t want to speak. Those emailing topic ideas are entered into a drawing for a spa package!
- Want to know which other conferences are looking for speakers? The blog & social media conference speaker submission list is updated regularly, so check back frequently. Don’t see one on the list you’d like to inquire about speaking at? Just let me know!
Newly Added Blog Conferences
Have you heard about the new blog conferences just added to the blog conference list?
- Last week I mentioned the Social Media Prom in San Francisco. Well here’s another prom opportunity: the Blogger Prom! This one happens in Hollywood on September 22nd from 7-10pm. The theme of this prom is “Hollywood Confidential” which means it’s all about classic Hollywood glamour. But this event is an invite-only one, so check if you qualify for an invite.
- SheCon 2011 is happening May 20-22nd, 2011 in South Florida. The first 200 bloggers who register will be able to register for FREE!
- The 2011 blog and social media conference list is shaping up already! In order to take advantage of big savings, be sure to check back often as new events are being added daily to stay on top of early bird registration deadlines.

Conference Ticket Info & Deadlines Coming Up
Whether it is a registration deadline or the end of early bird ticket rates, don’t forget these upcoming dates (found in the sidebar or by clicking the link above to see the calendar). And remember, 2011 conferences are being promoted already and some already have their tickets on sale. Plan ahead to save $$$!
- Bloggy Bootcamp in San Diego* is March 19th, 2011 and tickets are $110 before 12/1/10 and are $135 thereafter.
- BlogHer 2011 tickets are on sale. Early bird rate of $198 ends on 2/28/11 or whenever they sell out (and they will!). See this post for more insight into the BlogHer 2011 ticket categories.
- Mom 2.0 Summit 2011 tickets are already on sale. Early bird tickets are $399 through 10/1. Full price tickets are $449.
- I_Blog 2010 tickets* are still on sale for $199.
- FitBloggin’ 2011 tickets are on sale already. Early bird tickets are $199 through 10/31. Full price tickets are $250.
- Show Me The Blog Conference tickets are on sale for $60.
